Creatures of the sky emerge from their fertile shells
and gaze, for the first time, upon the open world of
of spirit, breath and flight.
For some time we wait, lingering within our safe places,
awaiting the moment when we, with confidence, can step
out and taste the world. We become changed as we take wing
