Volume III - Synopsis

Volume III of Fractured Paradise finds Addewid under siege by the Alliance of Truth, which was started by Cecilia and Moshe. They have managed to gain the support of all the monotheistic religions of earth, even though the various groups had fought each other, sometimes violently, on the earth-side.

They were unified by a common nemesis, namely Cren and the rest of the Intredu, Hesbrid and Treven. They believe that they have been betrayed, because their afterlife expectations have turned out to be unfulfilled and they are determined to help Nerth, whom they believe is, in fact, the real creator, the masculine "heavenly father" in their earth-side lives.

( Story ) The Cedawai rescue the Ciriad of Light from the pursuing forces of the Alliance of Truth.
( Story ) Drigon Pass. This pass through the Athivon mountains takes the Ciriad directly in front of Cedule. Just as they are about to move out of sight from the Cedule, one of Diawl's workers sees them and alerts Diawl of their presence. Diawl starts to pursue them.
( Story ) The Cavnod. Terngar meets the Ciriad on the edge of the Cavnod and brings them across as Diawls forces chase them.
